What is Brick Calculator Pro?

Premium Tool

Brick Calculator Pro is an advanced construction estimation software designed for contractors, civil engineers, and architects. Unlike standard calculators that simply count bricks, the Pro version offers comprehensive material breakdown (calculating cement bags and sand tonnage), detailed cost estimation, and the ability to deduct specific wall openings like doors and windows for maximum accuracy.

At Nexli Calculator, this professional-grade tool streamlines your workflow. It allows you to generate detailed quantity reports, download estimates as PDFs, and instantly share quotes with clients via WhatsApp or Email, ensuring your project planning is as professional as your building.

Detailed Cost Analysis

Input current market rates for bricks, cement, and sand. The Pro tool calculates the total estimated budget, not just the quantity.

Advanced Mortar Calculation

Don’t guess the cement. Based on your mix ratio (e.g., 1:4 or 1:6), we calculate exact bags of cement and cubic feet of sand required.

Deduct Openings

Add the dimensions of doors and windows. The calculator subtracts these areas automatically to prevent over-ordering.

Advanced Calculation Logic

The Pro calculator goes beyond simple counting. It uses volumetric analysis for mortar composition:

Mortar Volume Logic

How we find the wet volume.

  • Wall Volume = L × H × W
  • Total Brick Volume = Brick Count × (L × W × H of 1 brick without mortar)
  • Wet Mortar Volume = Wall Volume – Total Brick Volume

Material Breakdown

Converting wet volume to dry materials.

  • Dry Volume = Wet Volume × 1.33 (33% bulkage factor)
  • Cement = (Dry Vol × Ratio Part 1) / Sum of Ratio
  • Sand = (Dry Vol × Ratio Part 2) / Sum of Ratio

How to Use Brick Calculator Pro

  • 1

    Input Dimensions & Openings

Enter Wall Length, Height, and Thickness. Click “Add Opening” to deduct space for doors or windows.

  • 2

    Set Ratios & Prices

Select your Mortar Mix (e.g., 1:6). Optionally, enter the price per brick and per cement bag for a budget estimate.

  • 3

    Export & Share

After calculating, use the “Download PDF” button to save a formal report, or use “Copy Link” to send the data to a colleague.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

How do I save the calculation report?
Once you click “Calculate,” a “Download Report” button will appear. Clicking this generates a PDF containing the brick count, material breakdown, and total cost, which you can save to your device.
What is a Mix Ratio (e.g., 1:6)?
The mix ratio defines the strength of the mortar. “1:6” means 1 part Cement to 6 parts Sand. A 1:4 ratio is stronger and uses more cement, typically used for load-bearing walls.
Can I calculate for multiple walls at once?
Yes. In the Pro version, you can sum up the areas of multiple walls first, or simply perform calculations one by one and use the “Add to List” feature (if available) to compile a total project report.
Does the Pro version account for dry vs. wet volume?
Absolutely. When water is added to dry cement and sand, the volume decreases. Our calculator multiplies the wet volume by a factor (usually 1.33) to determine the exact quantity of dry materials you need to order.
Is my data private when I share it?
Yes. The calculations happen locally in your browser. When you “Share,” we generate a link with the inputs encoded, but no data is stored on our servers.
