Sleep science relies on the “90-Minute Rule.” A typical night involves 5 to 6 complete cycles of 90 minutes each. Here is the math:

- Start = Current Time + 15 min (to fall asleep)
- Cycle 1 End = Start + 90 min
- Cycle 5 End = Start + (90 × 5) = 7.5 Hours
- Cycle 6 End = Start + (90 × 6) = 9.0 Hours
