Calculating age isn’t just simple subtraction because months have different numbers of days (28, 30, or 31). Here is how we process the data:
The Calendar Method
Most common Western method.
- Step 1: Subtract Birth Year from Current Year.
- Step 2: If Current Month < Birth Month, subtract 1 from Year and add 12 to Months.
